Music Circles
I host monthly improvisational music circles at my home in Chester Springs.
Bring your sound and your self, and leave behind your notions of what music is supposed to sound like. What is it like to be part of a community of music where we strive to meet each other exactly where we're at?
Music circles are open to people of all musical backgrounds, including those with little-to-no formal training or musical experience. We come to meet people, to grow our own musicianship skills, to listen and appreciate, and to support each other in musical connection with a variety of group exercises, ensemble formats, and free improvisation.
We often make use of the tools and techniques developed by the Music For People community, but each gathering is different, as a reflection of the participants and where we are in each moment.
Most circles are held on the second Saturday of each month. If you're interested in participating, please subscribe for email announcements.
